The channel of communication that is usually used to reach the intended stakeholders essentially influences the role of communication in the technology transfer. Because of this, there is a need to create comprehensible and specialized form of information and communication structure that would suit the intellectual preferences and experiences of the clients. Thus, communication fast tracks the agricultural development and social change.

Sets of information and various technologies generated by the member agencies are continuously being delivered by the consortium. The Regional Applied Communication Officers (RACO) spearheaded the popularization and dissemination of technologies generated through the years. They not only focus on the dissemination of the information but also in empowering our valued stakeholders and key person in development. Through emancipating the people, transfer of technology would be more effective.

ILARRDEC Reporter newsmagazine is publish quarterly. Other printed materials like brochures, leaflet, primer and posters needed by various stakeholders are continuously reproduced and disseminated throughout the region and also neighboring provinces. These printed materials including posters are also downloaded to FITS Centers in the region.
