To provide the latest information and technology on agriculture, fishery and other related sectors that are essential to all clients through modern ICT equipment and IEC materials to achieve profitability, productivity and sustainablity for all

Vision

As a major source of information and technology services that are accessible for all especially the farmers, processors, traders, entreprenuers and other extension workers to empower and guide them in the critical decision making on production, processing, trading and marketing activities.

FITS Sudipen is located at the 1st floor the the Municipal Hall Building of the Municipality of Sudipen at the Office for Agricultural Services 50meters from the National Highway. It has 3m by 4 meter floor area just within the office for Agricultural Services.

Focus Commodity (include pictures)

Ube- is the rootcrop that has a promising potential in the market. Grown as backyard as well as commercial crops. Ubi is cultivated mainly for its tuber which is used in various food preparations. its tuber contains carbohydrates, vitamin C, vitamin A and essential amino acids. Ube is an important and preferred ingredient of cakes, pastries, candies, purees, ice creams and jams.

The municipality of Sudipen especially the upland barangays have the potential area to be planted with ube. There were already exisiting farmers planting ube and most of their produce were marketed to Baguio and nearby towns like Balaoan, Bangar and Tagudin for small scale consumption.
